This was a custom blend Friday created for me, and I have to say, it's one of the most refreshing spiced teas I've ever tasted. While the ingredient list might seem daunting, the ingredients come together exceptionally, creating a smooth, crisp, and beautifully balanced flavor experience. The Tie Guan Yin base shines through with its natural floral sweetness, allowing each spice to contribute its own character without overwhelming the others. I was particularly impressed by how delicately the fennel and star anise are handled in this blend, very lightly. They add their aromatic complexity without dominating the cup, letting the warm cinnamon, bright cardamom, lemon, and subtle peppery notes of juniper take their rightful place in the composition.
Every sip truly does evoke desert dreams and spice-laden schemes, transporting you to those sun-drenched Moroccan souks where aromatic treasures overflow and promise lingers in the air. The touch of edible gold lustre dust adds that perfect finishing touch of Old Hollywood glamour, making this blend feel like a special occasion in a teacup.
Thank you, Friday, for bringing this amazing blend to life. I wholeheartedly recommend Road to Morocco to anyone who loves Moroccan spices, appreciates a sophisticated Tie Kwan Yin, or simply wants to escape to another place and time. I was absolutely delighted by it, and I genuinely hope you will be too.
