Earl Grey

I'm an Earl Grey fan and this one just doesn't hit the mark for me. It's not a bad tea, but it's not the scent or flavor I expect from Earl Grey. It smells of something like pine, I've been struggling to describe it, but it's a strong flat note to my nose and tastebuds. Basically if you handed it to me, brewed or dry, and didn't tell me what it was, I wouldn't guess Earl Grey.

In my opinion one of the marks of a skilled tea maker is how well they execute the classics, theres really no where to hide in an Earl Grey.
The moment I opened the bag I was hooked; floral without being perfumed and a delightful citrus notes that are beautifully balanced with the black tea.

I think everyone who drinks tea has had Earl Grey. This is smooth, classic, and smells fantastic. Perfect amount of bergamot to taste it without being bitter or astringent.
